Sometimes, a single question can spark a lifelong journey. For me, it was wondering how stem cells could truly make a difference in patient care.

I’ve dedicated my career to building and leading the Stem Cell Facility at AIIMS. Since 2005, I’ve focused on advancing research in adult and embryonic stem cells whether from bone marrow, umbilical cord, or skin follicles and exploring new frontiers in iPSC technology and drug discovery.

Today, I guide a committed team at our cGMP facility, chosen as a Centre of Excellence, where together we’ve established GMP standards for manufacturing clinical-grade stem cells. Our purpose remains clear: to bring new hope through science and improve lives through innovation.
